Dalam Diam

Janganlah dulu kau pamit
Janganlah dulu kau beranjak
Malam waktu baru menyapa,
Silahkan masuk katanya.
Sunyi masih muda
Alun angin masih menari-nari
lincah

dan kita berdua terduduk di sini
di bangku taman
di bawah pohon rindang
berterangkan hanya sebatang lilin
yang terus leleh dimakan waktu
saling bertatap
dalam diam
diselimuti kabut; kabut bianglala

Arak-arakan gerimis pun datang
mau mampir mereka kata
yang tiap serbuk-serbuk dari mereka membawa
setitik kenangan yang purba

masihlah kita saling balas tatap
masih dalam sunyi
sunyi yang diiringi tembang jejangkrik
diiringi orkestra gerimis
dan angin yang bergesekan
tapi kita rasakan gejolak dari dalam diri
ingin menghambur ria keluar
tapi tak sepatah, dua patah, tiga patah kata pun
berontak dari rongga mulut

malam itu, tak ada kata-kata terucap
tapi segala macam rasa dan pikir
telah sampai ke kami berdua
mesra rasanya.
Hangat.

Malam nyaris gugur, rebah
Fajar akan bertamu sebentar lagi
Mentari sedari tadi curi-curi kesempatan mengintip kami
Kami yang saling bertukar cinta kala sunyi

Bukankah mencintai dalam diam itu
lebih menyenangkan?
Bak gerimis,
disembunyikannya rindu yang meriap
oleh serbuk-serbuk air yang luruh ke tanah
tanpa mengacaukan apa yang ada di sekitarnya.
Tapi mau sampai kapan?
“Andaikata aku…”
Tapi kau ini gerimis!
Janganlah menjelma jadi badai
yang buat risau sekitarnya.

IN SILENCE

Please, do not say goodbye already
Do not go away
The night has just greet us,
It says please come in.
 The silence’s still young
 The wind’s still dancing agile

and we both sat here
 on a park bench
 under a shady tree
 alighted by a candle
 that melted in time
we were staring to each other
in silent
shrouded in mist; the mist of rainbow

The drizzles’ cortege had arrived
they want to stop by, they said
when each of their dusts brought
 a speck of ancient memory

still we stared to each other
 still in silence
 with the song of cicadas
and the orchestra of drizzling rain
 the wind set a friction
but we sensed our inner turmoil
that wanted to burst out
but not one, two or three words came out
rout of the oral cavity

that night, no words were spoken
but all sorts of feeling and thoughts
has clenched us both
it felt intimate.
Warm.

The night was almost falling, and laid down
Soon the dawn would come
The sun was surreptitiously peeking on us
We, that were exchanging love when silent came

Wasn’t it much more merrier when loving secretly?
Like the drizzling rain,
that hid a protrude longing
by drops of water, exuviated to the ground
without interfering the vicinity
But how long it would take?
“If only I…”
But you are the drizzling rain
Don’t transform into a storm
that overwhelmed your surroundings
