Ada senyum membius di ufuk pagi
Merona terbakar ramahnya mentari
Kepak sayap menggelora di tiap sudut jalan
Memandang ke awan dan berseru
“Di sinilah kan kugapai langitku!”
Di kotamu..
Ada cinta di ujung lara
Ada rindu di dekapan malam
Ada tawa di balik dusta
Ada tangis di atas kepongahan
Di kotamu…
Ku pernah bersimpuh, tersudut, menunggu mati
Namun ijinkan aku kembali
Meskipun harus sendiri, naif dan tua
Sebab kini rindu bersarang dalam jarak

A smile anesthetized the dawn’s horizon
Blushed and burned by the gracious sun
The flap of wings were surging on every corner of the street
Looked up to the cloud and cried
“Here I will reach the sky!”
In your town..
Love laid before sorrow
Longing rested in the arms of the night
Laughter hid behind a lie
Tears dropped on top of hubris
In your town…
I’ve kneeled on my knees, bent, waiting for death
Now let me go back
Although I am lonely, naive and old
Cause now longing is nested within the distance
