Scorch

As soon the sun erodes the moon
I begin to recall the memories
Of your smile, and our smiles
Of my tears, and our agony
Through the road without home

The sand and sea water
Cover the sunlight in the sky
Where we walk hand in hand
But our eyes wander to different directions
One to the sun, one other to the sea

The scorching heat of sun vapors the water
Concentrating grains of salt and glooming the clouds
We are this far in most conversations
When the sun erodes the moon
Blasts the heat and we are burnt

Selepas mentari luruhkan bulan
Aku mulai menarik kembali kenangan
Akan senyummu, dan senyum kita
Akan tangisku, dan resah kita
Melintasi jalan tanpa rumah

Pasir dan air laut
Menutupi sinar surya di angkasa
Dimana kita berjalan bergandengan tangan
Namun mata kita mengembara ke arah berbeda
Satu ke surya, satu lainnya ke laut

Panas terik mentari menguapkan air
Memekatkan bulir garam dan menyuramkan awan
Sejauh inilah kita dalam percakapan-percakapan kita
Ketika mentari meluruhkan bulan
Meluncurkan panas dan kita terbakar habis
