My Mother Is Like A Ghost

I see a smile when the sun still refuses to shine
Faintly thin in a room without the lights
Scent of perfume is tickling
A fragrant kiss on the forehead
A gentle hug on the chest
Then gone when I open my eyes

I spend my day learning to walk
Fall, then learn to run
Mesmerized by colors
Laughing by jokes
Dancing by the rhythm
And spelling you on the tip of my tongue

I hear voices from the voice box
Talking to me, making me laugh
Calling my name and expressions of love
I’m chuckling and searching

When the sun is set
The moon is not full either
An empty milk bottle rolling
Falling apart from my dim eyes
When the room has no lights again,
The scent of perfume that is dying by sweat rapidly enters

I fall in a deep sleep
She hugs me tight
Kissing and caressing all night
When the dawn is breaking
I see again a thin smile, faintly visible in a room without the lights
Then disappears..

Mamaku Seperti Hantu

Aku melihat senyuman saat mentari enggan bersinar
Selapis tipis di kamar tanpa cahaya
Wangi parfum menggelitik
Kecup harum di pelipis
Dekap lembut di dada
Lalu hilang saat kubuka mata

Aku menghabiskan hari belajar berdiri
Jatuh lalu belajar berlari
Terpana oleh warna
Tertawa oleh canda
Berdansa oleh irama
Dan mengejamu di ujung lidahku

Suara-suara kudengar dari kotak suara
Mengajakku bicara, mengajakku tertawa
Memanggil-manggil nama
Dan ungkapan-ungkapan cinta
Aku terkekeh mencari-cari

Saat matahari terbenam
Bulan pun tak purnama
Botol susu kosong menggelinding
Lepas dari mataku yang temaram
Saat kamar kembali tak bercahaya,
wangi parfum yang sekarat oleh keringat menangguk masuk

Aku terlelap pekat
Seorang wanita memelukku erat
Mencium dan membelai sepanjang malam
Saat fajar kembali tiba
Kulihat lagi senyuman tipis yang terlihat samar di kamar tanpa cahaya
Lalu hilang..
