Open Door

An open door shows the sky
full of altocumulus clouds
shifted by wind
and the movement of birds

A seed on earth opens
young green leaves swing
chill out with the breeze
immense by the shower of light

Through an open door
young green leaves see the sky
and their colors turn brighter
without a song, without a sound

They softly dancing
as the shifting clouds and hurling wind
whisper through its pores
and the vibes get down through

They prolong their roots,
strengthen their stems
just to keep their longing far
out of their own heart

They secretly repine
wishing to be on the sky
something ought not to be
and they wipe each day
the feeling that is secretly serious
