the character in your voice
was build for years
since a little you
first learned to cry
in your mother’s chest
long high pitched cries
had evolved in you
through so many years
from when you first felt
the excitement of playing
to the rolling of joys and griefs
that blossomed as your age arise
you’ve had your senses enough
from the softest touch of cares
to the roughest wreck of dreams
and you are still learning to know
the person in your voice
that will define
the most human in you
