Rayakan Bulan Kemerdekaan Indonesia bersama Open Mic Night dari Indus Supper Club – Edisi Merdeka.


Kemerdekaan tidak selalu hadir dalam bentuk upacara, bendera, atau deretan kata-kata dalam pidato. Kadang, ia hadir sebagai suara seseorang yang berani berdiri di atas panggung dan mengatakan: inilah kisahku, inilah Indonesia yang kutemui dalam hidupku.
Dalam semangat itulah Indus Supper Club’s Open Mic Night – Merdeka Edition akan digelar di Ubud pada 25 Agustus 2026. Acara ini menjadi bagian dari perayaan Bulan Kemerdekaan Indonesia, sekaligus ruang bagi komunitas kreatif untuk merayakan kemerdekaan melalui kata, musik, cerita, dan pengalaman personal.
Bertempat di Indus Restaurant, malam tersebut akan mempertemukan para penyair, musisi, penulis, dan pencinta seni dalam sebuah panggung terbuka.

Bawa puisi Anda, atau daftar untuk salah satu dari beberapa slot musisi, masing-masing lima menit di atas panggung. Nikmati pembacaan prosa, musik, obrolan, dan hidangan Bali yang lezat saat komunitas kreatif Ubud berkumpul untuk merayakan momen ini. Apa arti kebebasan bagi Anda? Apa semangat Merdeka dalam hidup Anda? Bawa syair Anda, interpretasi Anda tentang kemerdekaan, identitas, dan sejarah kolonial, kata-kata Anda, kisah Anda, Indonesia Raya Anda.

Celebrate Indonesian Independence Month with Indus Supper Club’s Open Mic Night – Merdeka Edition.


Independence does not always arrive in the form of ceremonies, flags, or carefully spoken words in a speech. Sometimes, it comes as the voice of someone brave enough to stand on a stage and say: this is my story, this is the Indonesia I have encountered in my life.
In this spirit, Indus Supper Club’s Open Mic Night – Merdeka Edition will take place in Ubud on 25 August 2026. The event is part of Indonesia’s Independence Month celebrations, while also offering a space for the creative community to celebrate freedom through words, music, stories, and personal experiences.
Held at Indus Restaurant, the evening will bring together poets, musicians, writers, and art lovers for an open stage, a space where different voices, stories, and interpretations of Indonesia can meet.

Bring your poems, or sign up for one of a few musician slots, five minutes each on stage. Expect prose, music, talks, and great Balinese food as Ubud’s creative community gathers for the occasion. What does freedom mean to you? What is the spirit of Merdeka in your life? Bring your verses, your interpretation of independence, identity, and colonial history, your words, your stories, your Indonesia Raya.
